Conducted by AWARE’s Sexual Assault Care Centre, this workshop provides an in-depth understanding of what sexual assault is, how it is legally recognised in Singapore, the laws that revolve around it, and how to provide support to survivors of sexual assault.

It covers the following topics:

● Defining sexual assault (including harassment)
● Recognising Singapore’s legal framework regarding sexual assault
● Understanding consent
● Understanding the impact of sexual assault on survivors
● Providing support to survivors of sexual assault

This workshop is a self-organised initiative by Mok Cui Yin with soft/WALL/studs to increase sexual assault care awareness, especially in the independent arts and creative sector.

soft/WALL/studs is a collaborative project in Singapore involving several artists, writers, film makers, art workers, and researchers. Its projects include exhibitions, acts of amplification, hosting, fugitivity, counter-rhythm generation, support, resource gathering, research, writing, , game-making, teaching, collaboration, and maintenance.
